Build a Holiday Campaign Calendar That Converts

Holiday shopping already started. A blank campaign calendar in September is how you miss people who are already looking.

LocaliQ's 2026 holiday study found more than half of shoppers start as early as September through early November. If you still invent posts week by week, you are reacting while other shops are already booking the attention. Seasonal search works the same way: the plan comes before the graphic.

Plan the season as campaigns, not captions

Do not open Meta and invent a snowflake. Build a holiday campaign calendar: which weeks you push gift cards, early-bird offers, weekend traffic, Black Friday / Small Business Saturday, and the thank-you follow-up. For each week, name one offer, one audience, and one next step (book, buy, call, walk in).

Tools that help that calendar convert:

  • A simple content calendar (even a shared sheet) so posts, email, and paid ads that share the same offer line up on the same dates
  • One landing page or offer block per campaign week, not a dump to the homepage
  • Your email list for people who already know you, so you are not renting every click
  • Boosts only on posts that already earned the right stop-and-scroll, tied to that week's offer

A snowflake without an offer and a next step is decoration. The calendar is the campaign plan. If August leftover money is sitting around, what to do with leftover marketing money is the same order: fix the place people land, then spend.

Measure the week, then spend

Organic posts that match the campaign week teach who cares. Then put a little money behind the ones that already work. Do not buy a week of ads for a pretty graphic with no book / buy / call path.

If you cannot name the offer and the next step for a date, you are not ready to boost it. Holiday posts worth boosting are the ones that already proved themselves organically.
