The Use of AI in Business: A Community Conversation with JTech

JTech Communications hosts AI Seminar: Free to the Bozeman Community

JTech's Expertise on Artificial Intelligence

Over the past year, we’ve seen first-hand the impact Artificial Intelligence (AI) has had on local businesses, consumer behavior, and people trying to exploit businesses in the changing web ecosystem. JTech Communications saw a need; local business owners can’t always tell how they fit into AI, exactly what AI is, and ultimately, what has an impact on your bottom line.

Similarly, we see the general public’s reaction to AI, opinions of the use of AI, and, more importantly, the vast quantity of misinformation about AI. Content is easier to create than ever before. Inaccurate, non-credible, and misleading content is also easier to create than ever before, and AI is not good at deciphering what is good information, and what is potentially harmful.

According to Oumi, Gemini 3 produced correct answers about 91 percent of the time in their AI Overviews feature, often seen at the top of search results. That might sound pretty good, but Google produces around 5 trillion searches per year, equating to somewhere around hundreds of thousands of inaccurate results per minute (Oumi, retrieved from The New York Times). Perhaps even more staggering, the same study found that correct AI Overview responses were ungrounded, or lacking evidence, 56% of the time.

This is precisely why JTech is hosting a free AI seminar. To give the Bozeman community the tools and knowledge they need to protect themselves from potentially misaligned information and to form their own opinions on AI’s usage in business functions.
