Non-Profit Web Design for The Stafford Animal Shelter

Project Overview

A Donated Website to Help Livingston's Animals

Our web design team worked with the Stafford Animal Shelter to refresh their non-profit website in 2023. The Stafford Animal Shelter is Park County's no-kill animal shelter. In 2021 alone, the Stafford Animal Shelter helped close to 1000 animals.

JTech's employees are frequent visitors to Stafford Animal Shelter. Our team has even adopted several of their animals.

When Stafford's Livingston shelter flooded in 2022, our website design team wanted to help however we could. For years, the shelter staff have struggled to manage their old, broken WordPress site. Our website design team stepped up to create a new website they could rely on.

What We Did

Our website design team worked with the Stafford Animal Shelter team to build a better non-profit website. In the end, we created a site that improves how their team can manage their web presence in fundamental ways.

Specifically, our web design team worked with Stafford to:

  • Reduce page creep
  • Improve their ability to edit website pages
  • Update their website's color palette
  • Improve website speed
  • Simplify their web design
  • Keep and clearly display several key pieces of information about their non-profit status

Our team condensed Stafford's old website into 3 simple pages that display their most important information. Our graphic designers worked with Stafford to create a more calming, welcoming color palette as well.

We also improved the visibility of their non-profit information and site page performance. Finally, we created a custom, My JTech content management portal for their team to use. The Stafford Animal Shelter team uses My JTech to make edits easier than ever.

Overall, our adjustments encouraged reading speed and comprehension.

Success

Each improvement by our development team addressed a key barrier to Stafford. They now have a concise, helpful, gorgeous website that improves their ability to help Livingston's stray & surrendered pets.

Even better, Stafford's non-profit site was ready to launch when flood repairs finished.

We're excited to work with them in the future as their 501(c)(3) continues to help pets in Park County.

Let's work together.
