Your Business Needs to use HTTPS

Google is an ever-changing program, and JTech has an update about your website domain. Your website can have HTTPS or HTTP. HTTPS is the secure version of HTTP — the 'S' at the end of HTTPS stands for ‘Secure,’ meaning all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted. As HTTPS gains traction in industries beyond ecommerce, Google has been marking websites without HTTPS as “insecure,” motivating business owners to convert to maintain credibility and security amongst their customers.

Learn more about encryption from our partners over at Wolfguard IT in their recent blog post, Your Business Needs to use HTTPS. In order to secure your address, you’ll have to acquire an SSL certificate — we recommend Let’s Encrypt for most website needs. If you need any help, don’t hesitate to contact us.
